Birmingham MEGA Event

Mega event at Birmingham last night raised £80,000 ..... Thanks to Birmingham Sub-commitee members Nahaem, Nadeem, Jonny, Dr Shafiq and Waseem. The main sponsor for the event was Sapna Caterers from Southall London. We can not thank them enough for their support.

Khalid Mahmood's 'First Impression' Group performed in front of 600 people gathered in Birmigham's Renaissance Hotel. MDAUK is grateful to Khalid Mahmood and his group to participate in the charity function.

Meeting with the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir

MDAUK team meets the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir - Sardar Atiq Khan.

with the Prime Minister on 28th Jan 07 at the Mumtaz Restaurant Bradford to disuss the proposed charity hospital project in Muzzaffarabad Azad Kashmir.

MDAUK Live on DM-DIGITAL TV

MDAUK will be live on DM-DIGITALTV (Sky Channel 822 or 817) 6pm-7pm on Wed 15th November 06 to raise awareness of Muzaffarabad Hospital Project (in Assan Na Kashmir).

Bradford Fundraising Event at ANAM Restaurant

Mr M Maqood (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon) of Lincoln County Hospital, Mr Tariq Mustafa (Specialist Registrar Nottingham), MR Salman Rabbani (Lincoln County Hospital) had organised a luncheon event at the ANAM Restaurant in Bradford to help the MDAUK hospital project. It was attended by 187 friend from Lincolnshire. Cost of food and restaurant was paid jointly by the three above mentioned surgeons. They also had collected donations and in total raised well over £7000.

MDAUK - Derby Rotary Club - Function - 10 Nov at Pride Park

An excellent evening at Derby Pride organised by Derby Rotary Club have raised £15,000.

A football shirt autgraphed by two English legends was auctioned for £1000. The Shirt was donated by Rupert Smilllie (Nottingham Probation Services) and Ms Ann Marie Thompson (PR Executive) of Max Clifford Association New Bound St, London. Also many thanks to Liaqat for promoting the project to them.

Eid Milan - Oriental Express Restaurant - Rotherham

We are very grateful to Shabbir Mughal and friends from Sheffield/Rotherham for inviting us to the Eid Milan party held on 29th October 06 at Oriental Express Restaurant to raise funds for the proposed MDAUK hospital project.

MDAUK has received a generious donation of £5,169.30 on the night.
